Suspense—Episode 1: Cool Air

By John C. Alsedek:

Recorded way back in 2012, this was the very first episode of SUSPENSE we ever did. In fact, it was the pilot episode we sent to Sirius XM that got us on Book Radio 80 from Fall 2012 till Book Radio 80 went off the air in June 2013. I was very familiar with the original Lovecraft story, as well the adaptation Rod Serling did for Night Gallery, that this episode is based on; in writing it, we went with a middle ground between the two versions, taking out the romance of the Serling version but keeping the emotional connection.
