Welcome to the basics of Numerology: the study of what names and numbers mean!
Life Path Number
The Life Path Number, also known as the Destiny Number, is the sum derived from your birth month, day and year. It describes the terrain or landscape of the path you walk through life. Your journey is your destiny. Your "Life Path" or "Destiny" numbers never change - just as the month, day and year of your birth never changes.
Calculate your Life Path Number
and click on the Corresponding number below!
(Month + Day + Year You Were Born = Life Path Number)
Example:
April 3, 1961
April is the fourth month of the year:
4 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 1 = 24
Unless it is a Master Number of 11 or 22, always reduce a double digit number (a compound number) to one number by adding the digits:
For example:
2 + 4 = 6

Your Expression Number is derived from your Birth Name Number and reveals your purpose or mission in life.

To calculate this number:
Find the numbers on the Chaldean System chart that correlate to each letter of your full birth name.
Example:
Elizabeth Gracen
Birth name: Grace Elizabeth Ward
Grace: 3 + 2 + 1 + 3 + 5 = 14 (1 + 4) = 5
Elizabeth: 5 + 3 + 1 + 7 + 1 + 2 + 5 + 4 + 5 = 33 (3 + 3) = 6
Ward: 6 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 13 (1 + 3) = 4
Now add the reduced total of each name:
5 + 6 + 4 = 15 (1 + 5) = 6 = Expression Number
